The past week I have been in a unique position to observe someone who is going after money. And as a filmmaker I have seen a lot of people go after money. Recently an aspiring filmmaker told me that he wanted to go into a part of the industry because that is where the money is. I was raised never to go after money, because I was told bad things happen. Simply put, your intentions in life should always be pure and driven by the heart, not the wallet. If you are driven by the wrong motivation, what you seek will fall apart. I’ve seen it happen a lot. My quote for the week is in regards to where it is best to place our focus.
