I studied Human Communication in school which studies how we as beings communicate beyond words. Since then, I have always been fascinated with Human Communication, specifically non-verbal communication because it is how we communicate the majority of the time.
Non-verbal communication covers tone of voice, rate of speech, touch, body language, appearance and environment. When Ted Talks published “Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are,” by Amy Cuddy, I was drawn to it for its discussion on body language. This Ted Talk is one of the few talks that I review often because it provides great advice. I love how Amy uses her story to shed light on what she has discovered with her research.
