When mothers day or fathers day or holidays in relation to family come up, I feel the need to tread lightly. Not everyone has grown up in a loving home or to loving parents or guardians. I do not want to exclude anyone and I sometimes do not write during these events.
Visions of absent fathers, sons who long for their fathers to understand them, daughters that want to know why etc. These are real stories and real people, that exist in abundance, and can sometimes overpower the fact that there are good fathers in the world.
There are boys, young men and men that want to be good fathers. Or be even better fathers then their fathers were for them.
