I have wanted to deeply understand how the chakra’s function, since I first learned about them almost eight years ago. Since I have been reading about them, I have noticed that my awareness is expanding and I feel a shift within me.

I’m a little hung up on the Solar Plexus chakra. What I have learned about how it functions speaks to a lot of pain that people have that people have told me over the years.

The common human desire to fit it can sometimes over power our desire to stand out and follow our heart or show our true colors.

When we silence aspects of what we want for our lives it causes an imbalance within us and an inner battle. For those who bought into the idea that their dreams are pipe dreams, they can hinder others who choose to dream big and try.“You can’t do it.” “Get your head out of the clouds.” “You need to grow up.” “Be reasonable.” All these phrases are ways that we can hold or be held back by others.

The solar plexus wants us to believe in our selves and our ability to make our life what we want it to be. The people who are winners in life are the people that try. Even if you fail, at least you tried because a lot of people stay on the bench or stand in the corner in fear then seeing where their dream can lead them.

Today’s Tune Tuesday Song, I have wanted to share for awhile. After looking at several songs and their lyrics,  I chose this song for today because it addresses the inner struggle or fear we have from time to time. It also shows the character’s growth over time. She goes from feeling the rhythm to being the rhythm, that line shows the shift of a deeper belief in self. The song also has some great mantras”I can have it all” and “take your passion and make it happen”.
