Three years ago I decided to start living vulnerably so that my friends could fully know all the components that make me who I am.
At first it started with being vulnerable in safe spaces with close friends. Then I was vulnerable with friends and co-workers and now new acquaintances.
Three years ago, I also decided to in inadvertently know the depth of my courage, when I decided to face any personal fear that I encountered. This goal has taught me the most about myself, my strength and courage.
While I have pushed through many fears, some fears are deep rooted or Goliath in size. In some cases, I feel weak or small compared to these fears, but I am moving towards them and breaking them down.
There is no fear that we have that we can not over come.
Fear has taught me the depth of my courage, and courage has taught me that fear is an illusion of the mind. There are fears that we have built up over time, that will take time to break down, but it is not impossible. Patience is necessary to overcome obstacles, when the finish line is no where in sight.
