Mindful Monday #162 – Strength in Knowledge
Knowledge has made a large presence in my life this year. It was skilled in how it showed up and I almost missed it.
This year has been filled with a lot of challenges, unexpected experiences and big spot lights that has been shed in the moment of the women (that is me) that is emerging from it all.
What I first identified as perspective shifts at various times of this year, all occurred as a result of knowledge, my own personal knowledge and personal history. Personal, family, cultural, community etc. histories are important because they provide a foundation of what has been done and what needs to be done. It is our history that can empower us if we look at it in the right lens.
The knowledge I gained in my spirituality, my mindfulness practice, my self awareness and work knowledge/ experience empowered me to make bolder choices.
This year is a defining year for me. My past and current choices are setting up my life for possibilities that have opened doors for me that I have no hesitation to enter. These doors will create some of the greatest shifts in my life since I found my voice almost four years ago.
Today’s Mindful Monday consider the following:
This topic is important and should be focused on for longer than a week. If you want major shifts in your life, focus on your knowledge.
- What do you know/ what skills do you have?
- What do you want to know/ what skills do you want to learn?
- What do you need to know/ What skills do you need to learn?
- What are you not wiling to see or hear in your life that will lead to your own enlightenment?
Meditating on these questions separately will point you in the right direction.
Have a great week.
Love, Stephanie – XO
