Mindful Monday #174 – Driven By Greed

It’s an ugly word, with an unflattering meaning, yet more and more people are dancing with G R E E D and getting into bed with it these days.

The desire to have power over others via money, taking others power or silencing is driven and rooted in the ego.

The Ego’s Mantra, when it comes to Greed: You are not safe, until you have it all.

There is no love or Spirit/ Divine/ Universe, when greed is at the helm or is the intention of a person, corporation or community.

When we give breath to the ego it doesn’t guide us, it runs us. We hurt ourselves and others when it is in charge.

The belief that their is not enough: time, energy, money or recourses is based in fear and lack which fuels the ego.

For today’s Mindful Monday, I invite you to meditate on the following:

In what ways is Greed present in your life, relationships or work environment?
To what extent do you enable or disable greed in your life?
