I am in a current month long Meditation on Love and Peace. Since the month began, I have been sharing a wisdom a day on Instagram.
Since February 2015, I have dedicated the month to writing about Love. I first wrote a series of posts about different types of love, which evolved into a weekly meditation and now it is a daily meditation. Last year, I meditated on Love and Attachment and posted a new wisdom each day on Instagram (@IlluminatedVoice).
I chose to meditate on Love and Peace this year, because I feel people long for them. My intention for this meditation is rooted in my heart. Three days into this meditation, I am learning that Love and Peace have their own agenda.
The union of Love and Peace are revealing obstacles that keep people and society from them.
This meditation is potent, raw and honest. I am not trying to guide the meditation or force it in any way. I create space for Love and Peace and allow them to guide me and teach me. I am humbled by this wisdom and my ability to hold it. In the past, I would have shied away from such honesty, but I don’t have that level of fear around this level of truth. I know my meditation and mindfulness practice have strengthened my ability to hold this wisdom and share it.
I am curious about what truth is yet to come and how it will change me. (Love always chances me.) For now, I can say that Love and Peace are powerful and strong. They don’t get enough credit, they don’t ask for credit they simply reside in silence and stillness.
I love this. I hope you can make it a practice . . . you’re right. The world could use this.
