Being home this weekend was a great break from living and working on location. It was so nice to spend quality time with two of my close friends and have a home cooked meal. These are simple every day joys that I have always enjoyed, but I enjoy them even more.

Being on location provides a lot of solitude, which results in deep reflection. I’ve been thinking about my friends a lot and expressing gratitude to them and for them daily.

I’ve have been in search of souls whose spirit matches my own and I’m happy to say I’ve arrived. I’m so grateful for the most sincere, genuine friends I have ever known. They teach more about friendship and love each day and reciprocate the level of friendship that I have given to others, but have not always received in return. It’s a blessing to be in this space, because it’s something that I’ve longed for, for a long time.

Opening up more beyond what was comfortable at times, being honest and allowing myself to be in the moment continues to show me even more beauty in life and the gifts that are within me.
